Black★Rock Shooter: Innocent Soul (ブラック★ロックシューター イノセントソウル, Burakku Rokku Shūtā Inosento Souru) is an action-fantasy manga series by Sanami Suzuki. It was serialized on Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace magazine between June 2011 and May 2012 for a total of 12 chapters.[1][2] Its chapters have been compiled into three volumes, which were published in paperback as well as electronic formats.
Synopsis[]
The story follows Rock, a Black Star who hunts down Stagnant Souls in the Threshold where souls fail to ascend to heaven or descend to hell. As she encounters one soul after another, she learns more about the cruel reality of this world, and what should have been routine fieldwork would steadily cause her to waver in emotions, urging her to search for her own past and identity.
