Black Rock Shooter Wiki

Miya (ミヤ, Miya) is one of the characters in Black★★Rock Shooter DAWN FALL. She is the younger sister of Norito.

Miya is a young girl with short brown hair and an artificial eye, while her right eye is olive green and normal. She has a braid on the left side of her hair, which matches her brother's braid. She wears a green and black jacket and pants, and black gloves and boots.

Miya's appearance is virtually unchanged fifty years later due to having become a pseudo-Hemiteos Unit fifty years prior, aside from becoming somewhat taller. She wears a white jacket and boots with a large collar around her neck.

BRS DF EP1-212

Miya and her brother Norito lived in a fortress city located on a hill not far away from San Francisco. Sometime in 2062, the two siblings ventured out to a facility named Area X to collect water, where they encountered an amnesiac Empress at the basement. However, they were cornered by pursuing Unmanned Forces, and Miya chose to help Empress out by clearing the debris blocking her exit, who in turn rescued them with Black Trike's assistance. A small detachment of Peacebuilding Forces soldiers soon found them in the open, and the Colonel ordered Empress to leave the siblings behind as they would be a hindrance to their operations, but Empress refused and wanted to take them home.[1]

BRS DF EP2-201

After surviving another attack from Unmanned Forces, the siblings rode on the remaining Peacebuilding Forces' vehicle with the Colonel and drove to the fortress city. When Norito wanted to collect supplies in an abandoned hospital for the city's residents, Miya and Monica helped him out, while Empress drew nearby Unmanned Forces' attention away from them. The operation was a success, and the siblings bade farewell to Empress, Colonel, and Monica.[2]

BRS DF EP6-027

Sometime later, Miya was kidnapped by Education Institution in a raid on the fortress city, and was sexually violated by its leader Smiley.[3] She survived the ordeal, which led to Smiley proclaiming her passing his "conformity test" for Hemiteos Unit conversion surgery. She was then sent to the laboratory for preparation, but the actual surgery did not happen as Smiley was occupied with fighting Empress, who came to avenge for those killed by the Education Institution. With Strength's help, Norito eventually found his sister, and they thanked the Hemiteos Units before parting ways once again.[4]

BRS DF EP12-447

When the Peacebuilding Forces started their operation to take down the Orbital Elevator, Norito and Miya decided to head over to witness the battle. En route they encountered Monica, who was evacuating the area. Monica reluctantly brought Norito over to the battlefield while insisting Miya to stay behind for safety's sake. Ironically, Miya was later hit by Moon Flake bombardment, and in order to save her life from injuries, she had to be converted into a pseudo-Hemiteos Unit. 50 years later, she received the codename "Fortune" from Monica before participating in a major spaceborne counterattack operation on Artemis.[5]
